Wasatch Adaptive’s programs emphasize the development of skill, independence, and active living through a participant-centered approach. Entry-level through advanced instruction, group sessions, and equipment rentals are available year-round with an option of scholarship assistance. Each lesson includes one-on-one instruction and any equipment needed.

Our team is open to all Wasatch Adaptive Sports riders who are looking to do the 4, 7, 16, 25, 50, 80, or 100 mile rides.
If our team is full or you are interested in the 1 mile discovery loop, you can still sign up for the event by registering with the NAC.

Located at Tibble Fork Reservoir, the paddle board and kayak program focuses on success found in either the sitting, kneeling or standing position.

All participants are encouraged to utilize the robust WAS scholarship program. The scholarship application is included in the participant registration forms.

Our adaptive approach focuses on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and relaxation—tailored to meet each participant’s unique needs. Whether seated or supported, everyone can experience the physical and mental benefits of yoga while building confidence, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being. Join WAS for a virtual yoga practice led by professional yoga instructors. Rent a yoga mat, blocks, and straps from WAS!

SitBird Camp 2026
April 1 to 3, 2026

Wasatch Adaptive Sports is hosting a sit ski camp at Snowbird Ski Resort in April 2026. The camp is open to advanced sit skiers.

Camp Includes
• Three full days of skiing at Snowbird with Wasatch Adaptive instructors and guides (April 1 to 3)
• Three nights of double-occupancy lodging at the Cliff Lodge (March 31, April 1, and April 2)
• Group-rate lodging available for participants who wish to extend their stay (additional cost)
• Breakfast and lunch provided on April 1, 2, and 3
• Catered dinners provided on March 31, April 1, and April 2

Registration Information
• Cost per sit skier: $600 (limited 50% scholarships available)
• Cost per human companion: $400 (scholarships not available for companions)
• Camp capacity is limited to 10 sit skiers and 10 companions
• Companions must be advanced skiers and must not require instruction
• The camp is open to advance to expert sit skiers looking to push their skills and abilities
• A video of your ski ability is required and must be emailed to programs@wasatchadaptivesports.org

• Applicants will be considered based on skiing ability and alignment with camp goals
• Previous participants may apply; however, new applicants will be given priority to help share this experience

This application will close on October 31, or earlier if capacity is reached. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by mid-November.
