Each of WAS’s recreational programs emphasize the development of skill, independence, and active living through a student-centered approach. Entry-level through advanced instruction, group sessions, and equipment rentals are available for year-round programs with the option of scholarship assistance. Each individual lesson includes one-on-one instruction and any equipment needed.

Group rides and private sessions with our paid instructors take place throughout the week on the paved trails in Salt Lake City, Taylorsville, American Fork, and Provo.
All students are encouraged to utilize the robust WAS scholarship program. The scholarship application is included in the student registration forms.

Our mountain bike program includes individual lessons and group rides which emphasize safety and technique while promoting independence and confidence. Rides will take place weekly at various trailheads, including WAS-adopted Little Valley Trailhead in Draper.

Located at Tibble Fork Reservoir, the paddle board and kayak program focuses on success found in either the sitting, kneeling or standing position.
All students are encouraged to utilize the robust WAS scholarship program. The scholarship application is included in the student registration forms.
UT Students: $20 per lesson
Out-of-town Students: $40 per lesson

Join WAS for a virtual yoga practice led by professional yoga instructors. Rent a yoga mat, blocks, and straps from WAS!
Classes are offered for FREE in 2022

All lessons held at Snowbird, Alta, Sundance, and Woodward include individual instruction, equipment rentals (stand-up and sit-ski), and a lift ticket. Lessons requested at other UT resorts (Brighton, Solitude) are offered as full-day only.

UT Students: $45 per half-day lesson
Out-of-town Students: $200 per half-day lesson
Adaptive equipment includes:
bi-ski, snow slider, SnoKart, monoski, ski bike, and outriggers

Snowshoe Groups will meet at the Temple Quarry Trail at the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon starting in January through the end of February.
