Veterans, their families, and supporters of WAS are invited to the 11th annual Highly Decorated event on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Hosted by Snowbird Resort, this event kicks off the holiday season celebrates veterans, service members, and their families with a day filled with recreation, community, and cheer! Everyone is invited to enjoy hot chocolate at the tree lighting ceremony on the Plaza Deck following their day on the mountain.

Free half-day lift tickets for December 9th are available for veterans, active servicemembers, and their families (a limited amount of tickets will be available, first-come, first-served!). Register by December 1 (link coming soon!)

Schedule of Events:
12:00 p.m. Veterans & servicemembers can pick up their lift tickets at the Snowbird Center, level 2
4:00 p.m. Après-ski reception with light refreshments in the Rendezvous
4:30 p.m. Tree lighting ceremony begins on the Plaza Deck with music, hot chocolate, drawings, candle lighting, and more

Veterans, active servicemembers, and their families are eligible. Tickets a are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be requested by December 1, 2023 – please only register if you are committed to attending the event! Lift tickets are for a half day of skiing at Snowbird Resort (12:30pm – Close) and do not include equipment.
