For the past 40 years, the HGGC Steve Young Ski Classic has been Utah’s premier celebration of inclusive skiing, benefiting children, adults, and veterans with disabilities. This 40th anniversary event brought the community together in support of Wasatch Adaptive Sports and its mission to meet the growing needs of participants.

Dates: Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, 2026
(Stay tuned for next year’s event dates.)

The Athlete Challenge featured exciting adaptive ski races where 100+ adaptive athletes, including WAS participants, raced alongside and against Paralympians, local mascots, princesses, professional athletes, and Steve Young on Chickadee run. This was also the first year the event expanded to two days of racing, allowing for double the number of athletes to participate. Special thanks to Doug Smith Subaru for helping make this possible.

The Evening Event was a true celebration, bringing everyone together for a night of live music, dinner, and both live and silent auctions. The Cliff Lodge set the stage for inspiring stories from WAS athletes and their families.
