WAS is committed to providing affordable programs that are accessible to all, regardless of one’s financial situation. Our goal is that cost should never be the sole barrier to participation.

All current season program offerings and tuition rates are listed on the WAS participate page. WAS is a locally-focused organization and our tuition rates reflect that value. Full or partial scholarships are available for all WAS programs.

How do I use the scholarship program?

No additional application is required. The scholarship program is available to any student and is included in your registration and liability release form. In the section titled ‘Scholarship Assistance,’ choose ‘I am applying for a scholarship’ and answer the 2 required questions. Students are not required to contribute any amount when utilizing scholarship.

    Who qualifies for a scholarship?

WAS is committed to ensuring that cost is never the sole barrier to participation for students. The threshold for using our scholarship program is 10% above the median household income in UT, relative to the size of the household. If a student does not qualify based on the median household income threshold and they have a compelling reason for needing a scholarship to be able to participate, we will work with that family on an individual basis.

I didn’t utilize a scholarship when I started with WAS, can I join the scholarship program now?

Yes! The scholarship program is always available. To change your scholarship status at any point, please call our office at 801.834.0476, or email
