A community in which people of all abilities experience the power of recreation whenever and wherever they choose.
We create long-term impact by fostering thoughtful and intentional relationships and resources that are centered in the needs of the community.
We champion teamwork, create community, and share our passions.
We meet others where they are with respect. We create a welcoming environment that values and listens to the individual.
We value an open learning environment grounded in transparency and honesty.
We get out of our comfort zones and challenge the status quo to be better each day.
We strive for high-impact work in everything we do.
ABOUT WASATCH ADAPTIVE SPORTS
A 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, Wasatch Adaptive Sports (WAS) was established in 1977 to provide affordable recreational and educational opportunities for children, adults and veterans to share with their support network or family.
WAS requires no initial fee and provides full or partial scholarships. Our programs empower students to achieve their unique goals in recreation while maximizing independence and providing access to the physical, mental, and social benefits associated with movement.
